This is a VERY short survey. There is no way of knowing who says what. So you are completely anonymous! The feedback comes back in % of what you guys are saying, that is all.

Thank you in advance!

Girl Scout Cadettes help Habitat for Humanity
 |

Girl Scout Cadette Troop 48805 lent a helping hand to the Clermont County chapter of TriState Habitat for Humanity on Super Bowl Sunday.

Troop members volunteered with the nonprofit organization’s “Souper” Bowl fundraising outreach held Feb. 7 at Milford First United Methodist Church. The organization offers bean soup for sale in an effort to support its mission of providing affordable housing to families in need.

The girls washed and sorted beans, diced carrots and ham and labeled more than 200 deli containers. The effort is part of the troop’s mission to learn about homelessness.

“Young people under the age of 14 are not allowed on Habitat construction sites, but by making soup we were helping people that are homeless,” explained Peach Norman Owen, a 13-year-old Scout from Milford.

“Some people said it was the best bean soup they ever tasted,” she added. “I really hope our Girl Scout Cadette troop can do this again and again.”
